Tordis and the Midnight Worrier - A Viking Saga
It's midnight, and everyone in Filby, except Tordis, is asleep. Just then, Tordis heard some crying. So she crept out the house and found a young boy sitting by the river. "Hey, are you OK?" she asked. "Its my Dad," he said, "He's sick and despite mine and my Mum's hard work he is not getting better."
"Hey, don't worry! That happened to me too!" she said, remembering her Dad's face again. "When you worry," she said, "you think about what might happen."
"So, he might get better!" he said, excitedly.
"If you continue to worship Odin, he might!" said Tordis
And you won't believe what happened next! The little boy's Dad got better and everyone in Filby was fine again!
